Well guys, it’s been a hectic couple of weeks so I’ve had a break. copper mining history

My wife Wendy & I enjoyed a lovely long weekend away at Moonta staying with friends who recently moved to the area – A big Hi to Steve & Lorna & thanks for the great time. Like all tourists, we enjoyed the sights and hospitality of this lovely little town. Visiting the local beaches, markets and hotels before heading home to Adelaide.

For those that don’t know the place, Moonta is a town on the Yorke Peninsula of South Australia, 165 km north-northwest of the state capital of Adelaide. It is one of three towns known as the Copper Coast or “Little Cornwall” for their shared copper mining history.

Guess it’s time to get back to work now though!
